EXECUTIVE AND PERSONAL PROTECTION DOGS
In addition to breeding our own dogs to ensure the quality of our stock, we provide extensive training so that our client's have safe, reliable personal protection in a multitude of settings.

We select only the top dogs from our breeding program to complete the full personal protection program. Our puppies are put through a rigorous forty-point test to determine their natural instincts and capabilities. Only those that excel in our testing go on to become executive and personal protection dogs.

As the dogs grow and develop, we analyze their temperament and personalities. Then, we listen to our clients and match them with the dog that will not only fit their security needs but also compliment their lifestyle. If the dog is not with you, it can not protect you. If its personality is not compatible with yours, then the appropriate bond will not be made between you and the dog. By performing such extensive evaluations of the dogs, our clients receive the quality their lifestyle and protection needs demand.

Our core training program is designed by Les Flores, an eighteen-year Police K-9 handler and trainer and includes rural, domestic, mobile, and office settings. Of course, each client is unique and has special circumstances. We work with our clients and accommodate any additional scenarios needed to ensure that their dog is ready to protect no matter what the setting.

All American Defender dogs over eight weeks old are placed in our intensive obedience program. We provide a basic handler orientation training class to give our clients the confidence to handle their dog safely. Additional handler training is also available.

PUPPIES AND TRAINED PETS FROM RARE OLD-WORLD LINES
We only breed two to three litters per year out of our exclusive World renowned Czechoslovakian Border Patrol bloodlines. All of our puppies are evaluated from the time they are born and undergo our extensive forty-point testing at eight weeks of age to determine their natural instincts, personalities and capabilities.

Deposits for puppies are accepted as soon as we know a breeding has been successful and reservations are highly encouraged due to the popularity of our bloodlines. Please contact us if you are interested in obtaining one of our puppies.

As with people, not all dogs are suited for the same purpose. Because we are so selective of the dogs placed in our full personal protection program, we also offer trained juvenile and adult dogs with our core obedience training and with or without protection foundation. Schutzhund, PSA, Competitive Obedience, Agility, and outstanding pets are other jobs that American Defender dogs also do...and do very well. Please contact us for information on these special dogs.

We consider it an honor to provide healthy, reliable Police K-9 and security dogs to those who protect our communities and our country. Because of this, we offer a unique program including department liaison support and financial assistance to departments interested in our dogs. SPECIAL REQUEST
Upon occasion, clients contact us looking for a dog that has special talents or capabilities outside of our core training or breeding program. We will gladly research, test and liaison for our clients should we not have the dog you need currently in our facility.

We have reputable contacts around the World and we are well versed in what questions to ask a breeder or broker to get the best dogs for the job required.

Now days, it's hard to tell who's who - particularly on the Internet. Anyone can sell a dog and, if you are affluent, it's very easy to get taken advantage of by unscrupulous brokers and dealers. We'll help you avoid these situations and take the hassle out of finding the right dog for you. It's important to us that you get the right dog for your needs and situation.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING OR DELIVERY
When you are ready for your your personal protection dog to join you in your daily life, you may pick it up at our facility, we can ship the dog to you or we can deliver it to your location.

While the purchase of an American Defender K-9 includes a basic handling orientation at our facility, we realize that it is sometimes hard to get away from your busy daily responsibilities. That is why we offer this service to our distinguished clients.

We recommend delivery for those clients who require building or perimeter searches of their homes or business, have unique scenarios that they would like to proof, or would simply like a more in-depth handling course in their own environment.

VISIT OUR FACILITY
The American Defender K-9 facility is located about 5 miles South of Olympia Washington. We are approximately 1 hour South of Seattle/Tacoma Airport (SEATAC) airport and 1.5 hours North of Portland (PDX). Between the two, we recommend PDX as it is a much nicer and more relaxed experience. The drive to our facility is much prettier from PDX, however, SEATAC is slightly closer.

If you prefer to fly yourself or obtain a charter flight, the closest airport is Olympia Regional Airport.

Our kennel and training facility includes 80 acres of pristine wooded forest with hiking trails and streams winding throughout the property. The dogs really enjoy going on long walks and runs for exercise. It's a great way to spend time with the dogs and even do a little bit of training in a natural environment.

We would love for you to be our guest and enjoy the Pacific Northwest flora and fauna naturally available to us while you meet the dogs. The property is very secluded so privacy is not an issue. Please contact us for driving instructions and detailed directions to our facility.

ACCOMODATION RESERVATIONS
Our staff will gladly work with you or your personal assistant to make accommodation arrangements for your visit to the American Defender K-9 facility. Here are some of the arrangements we are able to assist with:

Limousine Service and/or car rental from either Portland (PDX), SEATAC, or Olympia Regional Airport.
Boat moorage reservations at Swantown Marina located at the Port of Olympia.
Room reservations at the Swantown Inn Luxury Bed and Breakfast in the heart of Olympia and only 15 minutes from our facility. The Attic Day Spa is also on site at the Inn for your convenience.
Family accommodations at The Great Wolf Lodge in Rochester, WA is only 10 minutes South of our location. A great place for the kids to play and have fun. The lodge also provides shuttle service to the Lucky Eagle Casino if you care to try your luck. A Masters level golf course is coming to the facility soon.
Dinner Reservations at Olympia's finest restaurants.
Airline reservations for your dog to return home with you. Making airline reservations with a large dog can be a little tricky if you've never done it before. We can contact the airlines on your behalf to make sure your dog is well taken care of.
