We're very proud of our dogs here at American Defender.  After fourteen years of research and building connections with working dog breeders, Police K-9 trainers, and the World famous Pohranicni Straze Czechoslovakian Boarder Patrol Kennel, we have obtained some outstanding dogs and bloodlines.  These dogs have consistantly proven to be and produce the best personal protection dogs in the World.

Some of our dogs are so notable they are even considered "legends" among working German Shepherd specialist. 

Xero Pohranicni Straze - IPO3
Xero Pohranicni Straze is considered to be the most famous son of Grim Pohranicni Straze (a "National Defender Hero" of the Czech Republic).  Xero himself was declared a "National Treasure" by the Czech government.  Xero's offspring have been unmatched in quality, structure, and sound temperament.

Xero possesses outstanding social character and stability.   He is very quick to defend his territory or family when they are threatened but is able to discern a true threat from a welcomed visitor.  He also very much wants to please his handler which makes him a delight to train and work with - qualities he passes on to his offspring.

Xero had sired many Police K-9 dogs and is coveted by breeders of Czech-line German Shepherds World-wide for producing exceptional working abilities and consistent good health in his progeny. 

NORBO BEN JU - SchH3, IPO3, ZVV1
Norbo Ben Ju was a six-time Czechoslovakian Schutzhund/IPO World Team member.  He also won the International Working Stud Show in Bratislava, Czechoslovakia in October 2000 where he completed his competition career.

Norbo offers classic German Shepherd temperament, a very positive approach with children and has a wonderful warmth in overall character towards his family.  His offspring consistently show the same qualities.

Norbo's sire Car Hz Kostoljanskej Cesty was one of the most successful producing stud dogs in Slovakia. 

Although Norbo passed away in October 2007, his bloodlines have been cryogenically preserved and continue to be used in our breeding program.
